Transliteration
Allahumma aslih li deeni alladhi huwa ‘ismatu amri, wa aslih li dunyaya allati fiha ma’ashi, wa aslih li akhirati allati ilayha ma’adi, waj’al al-hayata ziyadatan li fi kulli khayr, wa’l-mawta rahatan li min kulli sharr.
Meaning in English
O Allah, correct my religious commitment which is the foundation of my life, and correct my worldly affairs in which is my livelihood, and grant me good in the Hereafter to which is my return. Make my life a means of accumulating good, and make death a respite for me from all evil.
6. Dua For Happiness and Success in Arabic
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحلِي شَأْنِ كُلَّهُ، وَ لَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْن
Transliteration
Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, birahmatika astaghitsu, aslih li sha’ni kullahu, wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfata ‘aini.
Meaning
O The Ever-Living, O The Self-Subsisting, I seek help through Your Mercy. Set right all my affairs and do not leave me to myself even for the blinking of an eye (i.e. a moment).

Another variation of this Dua is
اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَا أَنْتَ
Transliteration
Allaahumma Rahmataka Arju fala Takilni Ila Nafsi Tarfata Ayn wa Aslih li Sha’ni Kullah La Ilaaha Illa Ant.
Meaning
O Allah, I hope for Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for a blink of an eye. Correct all of my affairs for me. There is none worthy of worship except You.
8. Dua For Success In Exams And Interview
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي * وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي * وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي * يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Transliteration
Rabbi ishrah lee sadree Wayassir lee amree Wahlul uqdatan min lisanee Yafqahoo qawlee.
Meaning
O Lord, lift up my heart and ease my task for me. Untie my tongue, so that they may understand my words.
Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) used to recite this dua from Surah Taha (Verses 25-28) when he needed Allah’s compassion. He struggled with speaking fluently, but this dua helped him. You can also benefit from reciting this dua, especially when:

O, Allah! There is nothing easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if it be Your Will.
10. Dua For Success In Business
There is nothing in the Sunnah to indicate that it is mustahabb to say a particular dhikr or du’aa’ for help in business or earning a living, except that which was narrated from Umm Salamah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say after Fajr prayer:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَعَمَلاً مُتَقَبَّلاً
Transliteration
Allaahumma inni as’aluka ilman naafi’an wa rizqan tayyiban, wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan.
Meaning
O Allaah, I ask you for beneficial knowledge, good (halaal) provision, and accepted good deeds.
This dua is short but covers many aspects of earning a living, including business, farming, employment, and manufacturing. The Sunnah teaches us to use concise language that encompasses many meanings.
When asking Allah for what you need, it’s recommended to be specific and use simple words. For example:
- “O Allah, help me in my business.”
- “O Allah, bless me in my business.”

Transliteration
Rabbana hablana min azwajina wa zurriyatina qurrota ‘ayunina waj’alna lil muttaqina imama.

رَبِّي هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِنَ
Transliteration: Rabbi habli minas-salihin
Meaning: My Lord, grant me a child from among the righteous.
13. Dua
رَبّي هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَة إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاء
Transliteration
Rabbi habli milladunka zurriyatan toyyibatan innaka sami ud-dua.
Meaning
My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.
