On this night, angels come down to earth with blessings and mercy. Some scholars believe that on this night, Allah decides important things like who will live and die, and how much food people will have.
Prophet Muhammad said that this night is better than 1,000 months, and whoever misses its blessings has truly missed out. He also said that if you pray on this night with faith, Allah will forgive your past sins. And on this night, Satan can’t do any harm until dawn, so there is peace.
