6 Beautiful Dua For Iman (Faith) in Arabic and English

One way to increase your faith in Allah is by making dua and asking Him to help you stay committed to His teachings. Faith is a central part of Islam, and it means having a deep and sincere belief in Allah.

1. Dua For Iman in Arabic
اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ إِيمَانًا لَا يَرْتَدُّ، وَنَعِيمًا لَا يَنْفَدُ، وَمُرَافَقَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فِي أَعْلَى غُرَفِ الْجَنَّةِ ، جَنَّةِ الْخُلْدِ
Transliteration: Allahumma inni as-aluka Imanan la yartad wa na’iman la yanfad wa murafaqata Muhammadin sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam fi a’ala Jannatil khuld.
Dua For Iman in English
O Allah, I ask You for faith that does not waver, blessing that does not end and to accompany the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in the highest station in Paradise, the Paradise of eternity.
2. Dua For Iman In Arabic
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Transliteration: Rabbanaa laa tuzigh quloobanaa ba’da iz hadaitanaa wa hab lanaa mil ladunka rahmah; innaka antal Wahhaab.
Meaning: Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Whomever Allah gives faith that does not waver is strong in faith, and it will not be weakened by desires or doubts.

3. Dua
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Transliteration: Ya muqallib Al-qulub thabbit qalbi `ala dinik.
Meaning: O Controller of the hearts, make my heart adhere firmly to Your religion.
Ahmad narrated in Al-Musnad (23463) that Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) often used to say in his supplication:
“Ya muqallib Al-qulub thabbit qalbiala dinik (O Controller of the hearts, make my heart adhere firmly to Your religion).”
I said: O Messenger of Allah, how often you offer this supplication. He said: “Man’s heart is between two of the Fingers of Allah, may He be Glorified and Exalted; if He wills, He causes it to deviate, and if He wills, He causes it to be guided.”
At-Tirmidhi narrated it from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) and classed it as sound. It was also classed as authentic by Al-Albani in Sahih At-Tirmidhi.

4. Dua For Faith and Guidance
اللهُمَّ اهْدِنِي وَسَدِّدْنِي
Transliteration: Allahumma ihdini wa saddidni.
Meaning: O Allah, guide me and make me steadfast.
5. Dua
اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى، وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’aluk Al-huda wa’t-tuqa wa’l-`afafa wa’l-ghina.
Meaning: O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, abstinence and independence of means.

6. Dua
This is concise supplication, asking Allah for all that is good and seeking refuge with Him from all that is bad.
Ibn Majah (3846) narrated from `Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) taught her the following supplication:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ ، مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَاذَ بِهِ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ كُلَّ قَضَاءٍ قَضَيْتَهُ لِي خَيْرًا
Transliteration
Allahumma inni as’aluka min Al-khayri kullihi, ajilihi wa ajilihi, maalimtu minhu wa ma lam alam. Wa audhu bika min ash-sharri kullihi, ajilihi wa ajilihi, maalimtu minhu wa ma lam alam. Allahumma inni as’aluka min khayri ma sa’alakaabduka wa nabiyyuka, wa audhu bika min sharri maadha bihi abduka wa nabiyyuka. Allahumma inni as’aluka Al-jannata wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin awamal, wa audhu bika min An-nari wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin awamal, wa as’aluka an taj`al kulla qada’in qadaytahu li khayran.
Meaning
O Allah, I ask You for all that is good, now and in the future, what I know of it and what I do not know. And I seek refuge with You from all evil, now and in the future, what I know and what I do not know. O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your slave and Prophet asked You for, and I seek refuge with You from the evil from which Your slave and Prophet sought refuge. O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and for that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed, and I seek refuge in You from Hell and from that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed. And I ask You to make every decree that You decree concerning me good.
