The Key to Effective Dua: Sincerity and Patience
To truly benefit from dua, one must:
- Be sincere towards Allah
- Turn to Him with humility
- Seek out opportune moments for answered prayers
When you raise your hands to Allah, He is eager to respond. However, don’t rush the process, as delays may be part of His plan.
Remember the Prophet’s words (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): “Call upon Allah with certainty, and know that He doesn’t answer dua from a distracted heart.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 3479, and authenticated by al-Shawkani and al-Albani)
